Bryn Mawr Trip Page 1

So, at the urging of the Sasha, and with fear in my heart, I headed up to Bryn Mawr for Rocky Horror. I was also there in the hope that -- as she'd so assiduously assured me -- I would like her Haverford friends. This is the story of that journey.

| This first photo deserves an explanation. On the way up to PA, I was forced by circumstance to take an absurdly convoluted and delay-ridden series of train rides. I grew more and more bored as time went on, and decided to amuse myself by sneakily taking photos of people, and pretending (yes, ony pretending) that I was a scary stalker-man. I entirely failed to get any interesting, amusing, or arousing shots in the series (which is why you won't see most of them), except the one above. Take a look. I took a long exposure shot of a guy sitting across from me. He was entirely unaware of this, but still managed to not move at all during those three seconds. Thus, the weird ghosting effect of the people walking past him. I think it works very well. Also, if you look closely, you can see me, reflected in the glass door in the center of the photo. |

| I got to Bryn Mawr late for the beginning of Rocky. Luckily, on my way there I met up with a nice asian girl (whose name has escaped me, but who is in the fourth photo in this row) and we explored together to find the building in which the movie was occurring (once we resolved that I was, in fact, a guy... perhaps my long hair needs to be rethought.) The show was small, and I didn't take any photos until it was over. I did, however, manage to convince Liz, who had played Trixie, to repeat her routine for me (seeing as how I so unfortunately missed it.) |

| And once again, the power of the camera to invoke nudity in cute girls comes into play. Incidentally, the shot in the center marks the beginning of a trend. This is the second girl with nipple-tape I've photographed, and the second one who then donated a piece of said tape which now decorates my camera. The two shots on the left accurately portray how I spent my first night at Haverford (watching Ben play Mortal Kombat), and how Sasha did (playing Animal Crossing.) |

| Here we see some assorted shots of Sasha's Haver-friends (I shudder at the terminology, but use it nonetheless.) The gentleman peeking into the second shot is the amazing Hal, and the guy filling the last photo is Christian -- who despite all evidence to the contrary (he's well-groomed, neat, a good cook, and makes cocktails) is -- in fact -- straight. |

| It was decided that a trek would be taken -- to Philly, for Krispy Kremes. I got in the car with Hal, Jen, and Sasha, and we set off. We soon stopped for gas at a station that featured both a Blessed Snapple Machine, and the Slowest. Pump. Ever. Hal got to stand in the cold, pumping gas... until he found a better way. |

| The car trip continued. Finally, after eating mediocre diner food, we returned to Haverford. Hal immediately sped off (already tardy) to meet his girlfriend. The rest of us hauled our load of exactly 100 Krispy Kreme doughnuts back to the room. Soon, they attracted a crowd. |

| Here we see the poor fools lured in by the promise of delicious Kremey goodness. In the second row, you'll see a shot of the mighty Aziz, who plays altogether too much Dance Dance Revolution, but also has Chocolate Gelt in his pockets -- which makes him ok in my book. |

| The highlights of this row: the girl on the left -- whose name I've lost -- spent most of the night hitting on various guys at the party. The girl who Sasha is sitting on, and who is in the last two shots, is Alyssa, who is very hot. And the shot in the middle is an (appropriately) blurry shot of the pitcher(!) of fruity drink that Christian made me. |

| Two more shots of Alyssa, and two matching ones of her boy, Tom. Behind Tom, you'll note the incredible Gizmo -- who soon whipped out a pair of LEDs and spun them, giving me the opportunity for more Cool Experiments With ExposureTM |
